The other day while surfing through MiladyPro, I ran across this great blog post: 10 Daily Habits that Will Grow Your Business. It contains great advice on how a beauty professional can grow their business. Not only are these habits that beauty professionals can follow, they are great habits for our students to build while they are still in school.
The habits students build in school will be the habits that they will have in their salon. For that reason, it is critical to their success in the industry that they build successful habits while still learning in our student salons. If they can build some of the daily habits while still in the student salon, their transition to the salon is going to be that much easier.
Educators, we have a responsibility to not only teach our students the theory and technical skills they need in order to be successful, but we must also teach them all the soft skills that go along with that, including how to build a successful business.
