Looking for something to help students feel good about themselves as well as teach them to acknowledge other people? Well, Ida McLean from Searcy Beauty College just shared an idea with me that their Student Council came up with and they have recently implemented.
Friday is the day they take tests in their school. When each student arrives to class that morning, a student council member writes their name on a sticky note, folds it in half and then sticks it up on the whiteboard. As each student completes their test, they come up and turn their test in and then the educator grabs a sticky note off the board and hands it to that student. The student then writes something nice about that person. After testing is completed, they give their note to their person.

Ida said it is working great and all the students love it. They will even post a copy of the note on their own social media page.

Great job to all the students at Searcy Beauty College! You all are awesome!
