Are you tired of your students falling asleep or disconnecting while you are presenting?  If you answered yes, then you’ll want to check a fun game called Buzzword Bingo. This fun game encourages students to pay attention, listen and be present during your lectures.

The concept is simple, much like a traditional Bingo game. Except you won’t be yelling out “B-2” in your classroom.  The traditional bingo letters and numbers are replaced with your “buzzwords.” The card is filled with “buzzwords” or “key terms” right from your lesson. As you present your lesson, students will mark off the “buzzword” from their cards. The great thing is this game can be played off a printable Buzzword Bingo card or you and your student can download the Buzzword Bingo App right onto your devices.

With a few minutes, you can create a fun game that will keep your students engaged. Simply download the app, click create new game, enter the keywords from your lesson, and click create. You will receive a code to share with your students. When your student’s login, they will be prompted to enter the code you have provided them.  It’s that simple.  Game on!
